An accomplished leader, she has held a variety of senior positions in business and the healthcare sectors developing expertise in marketing, communications, business development, change management, leadership, quality improvement and the patient experience. Her own failures lead her to dive deep into the research to turn setbacks into success. She now turns her efforts to supporting healthcare leaders in enhancing their resilience to thrive through these turbulent times with custom designed and evidence based programs for organizations and teams.

Laura’s education includes a MBA from the Smith School of Business, a degree in Occupational Therapy from Western University, and certificates in Advanced Health Leadership and Applied Positive Psychology. She is also a yoga and meditation instructor and a professional coach. Her training also includes mentorship and advanced teachings by Niurka, formerly Tony Robbin's top trainer.

For her, a thriving life includes challenging physical activity, time in nature, travel and serving others. In 2016, she developed a resilience program for youth from disadvantaged backgrounds and she donates a portion of her revenues to causes that are important to her.
